A gorgeous wedding nestled amongst tropical palms with unsurpassed views across a bay, an oasis between the sea and tropical forest, Fabric Collection bride Eilish and now-husband David recently celebrated their picture-perfect wedding in one of Australia’s best-kept secrets – Darwin’s at the Point in the Northern Territory.
With sweeping sea views and the ambience of the natural surroundings, simplistic décor was all this Darwin destination wedding venue needed. “The style of our wedding was elegant and simple with touches of glamour,” Eilish explained. The result was a truly magical day that saw Eilish and David celebrate their love with their nearest and dearest. From the sounds of the ocean breaking in the background to dining under the stars and a menu of fresh local produce — guests were treated to a true taste of the Northern Territory with an intimate wedding experience.

Eilish envisioned an elegant yet classic silhouette, which was brought to life with a custom-made bridal gown crafted entirely in Italian silk crepe with an intricate lace insert detail. “I absolutely adored my gown on the day, the luxurious silk lustre in the sun and the fact it fitted like a glove – so comfortable!” Eilish styled her wedding dress with a single tier bridal veil with the same intricate lace insert detail.

The expert advice! I had something very specific in mind, but I did not know what type of fabric would suit my wedding dress idea.
